Obama in a Landslide

Well, I know we don't usually discuss politics, but heck, history has been made. It's official, Obama is our President. Wow, we've come a long way, baby!

Despite your party affiliation, this is a monumental day. It seems we all wanted change, and change is here. As I write this, I just finished watching McCain's conceding speech and am eagerly awaiting Obama to address our nation. I welcome any thoughts you may have and open up this forum for discussion.

Did you get out in vote? What did you think about the importance of this election? Are you confident in Obama as our President? If you voted for Obama, what were your reasons? Do you think he'll help the economy?

This is a significant time, witnessing history in the making. Voter turnout was clear evidence of the importance of this election. There was a steady steam of voters, all day, at our polling places!

I did vote and I'm totally sick of politics. We've had 4 years of political news. We'll see what happens.

It really didn't matter who ran, there are so many Bush haters that a Demorcrat was bound to win. I hope the Republicans aren't so hateful. I believe any person who reaches the office of President deserves everyone's respect.
