MILKWEED NATIONAL FICTION PRIZE

 

Annual award for unpublished works. Milkweed is looking for a novel, novella, or a collection of short stories written in English. Mss should be of high literary quality and must be double-spaced and between 150-400 pages in length. Enclose a SASE for response, or a mailer-sized SASE with postage or a $5 check for return of ms. All mss submitted to Milkweed will automatically be considered for the prize. Submission directly to the contest is no longer necessary. Writers are recommended to have previously published a book of fiction or 3 short stories (or novellas) in magazines/journals with national distribution. Catalog available on request for $1.50.
